Our big girl

18 months old, today! It certainly doesn't seem at all possible that 18 months has passed and my itsy-bitsy baby has turned into a jibber-jabbering big girl. Nevertheless, its happened. And I can't stop it. Despite the countless times a day I click my heels for her to stay exactly as she is. Then she does something new or wakes up and seems even cuter, and I'm enthralled all over again at watching her grow, excited for the next season ahead with her. I love being her mom.
She has an extensive amount of play jewelry that I just don't get. How on earth she ended up so girly is beyond me. She'll talk at you all day long but hardly ever give you a real word. She says "cheese" with so much enthusiasm, it makes it even more funny. She eats at the table in her toddler chair now. She gives the best toddler hugs and never denies kisses. Her hair, complete with some gorgeous curls, is growing at a rapid rate that I can't ever seem to keep up with. She runs with her hips swinging and I hope I'll always remember how silly she looks. She's obsessed with the Laurie Berkner DVD and can mimic every move from every song. She'll grab books off her bookshelf all day long and beg you to "sit!" so she can read them with you. And all the while she's becoming a big girl and doing the most "big girl" things...she's as petite as can be. Last month she weight 19lb 4oz and she's finally gotten into wearing 12-18 months clothes (save for dresses, which she can still manage 6-12).
Yes, yes. I love her so much. My sweet Annabelle Rose.
