Be Still And Know

Word of God speak
Would you fall down like rain
Washing my eyes to see
Your Majesty
To be still and know
That You're in this place
Please let me stay and rest
In your Holiness
Word of God speak...

Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God...I will be exalted among the nations... I will be exalted in the earth."

Our church is in a critical and crucial season. Mindsets, hearts, ministries, wills, and relationships are being mended, broken, stretched, and transformed. It's hard. It's exciting. It's new. It's different. I'm willing. I'm ready. Am I able?

I talk a lot. Ask my husband, he won't deny it. I pray a lot. Ask the Lord, He won't deny it either. In this season of a little bit of craziness in my own personal life and a little bit of craziness at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Center, God is speaking a simple activity to me: be still. I tend to try to think things through, talk things through, figure things out. Be still. It's quite simple really, isn't it? I believe He is speaking something to me, but I also believe I'm trying to dig into things without a true sense of listening. The truest sense of listening to the Lord's voice in this season is my mission. Please pray. Everything is still so different from what I've come to now. So that's it. I'm listening....

well, we have to start your comment count over again.
don't get too excited about the cookies - I just realized I'm an egg short. Subbing in a little applesauce shouldn't make too much of a difference, but ya never know.
See you soon! I really have to start cleaning now. I just fell asleep on the couch with Alyssa. There are still cracker crumbs all over the carpet and toys all over the house!

Hey lady. I miss you tons!!!!!
I have a respitory infection and it could take 2 - 6 weeks to get over it. Yeah so I feel like poop.

But anyhow, at least I am still functional. I have lots of stuff going on through December, but I want to find time for the four of us to get together... any suggestions?

LOVE YOU

I will email Sandi and let you know. I'm not sure I've decided on it for sure, so if I don't get it, I'll just order it for you.
I'll email Sandi now and let you know.

At least when you are in a season you recognize it and respond to it, you are one of the few people I know who actually listen when God is correcting, without throwing a fit and feeling sorry for yourself. Believe me, that's a testimony!!! LOVE YOU!!!

I heard back from Sandi - I can only order one of the specials. Sooo... I don't think I'm going to get it, if you want it just let me know. I'm too focused on Christmas right now to spend $20 on me.
And I'm not saying this so you say that I should get it. If you wnat it, go ahead - I'm not going to get it. As long as you mail your stuff by Tuesday, I should have it by Thursday when Sandi comes here. Let me know how the ordering is going!

Hey I just got an email from Sandi - she said there is a special where you can get 18 tealights in holiday scents for $6.95 if you order $40 worth of stuff.
Just thought you'd want to know. I don't remember seeing that one.

Not to be a pest, but do you know the total from all the orders you are mailing? I want to have an idea as to what I'm going to order before Sandi gets here. If I don't get up to $200 total, I can't get anything so it won't matter.
thanks

I miss you too!!!!! So when can we get together again.

Oh yeah I have some questions...
What are you and RJay doing for New Years. I think you told me that he gets that Monday Jan 2nd off... right?
And second, when are you guys or are you, planning on going to NC? You mentioned that if you could avoid having to take a whole week off that would be good. So I have an idea. But first let me know if I am right. :-)

I haven't talked to Joe yet about Christmas, things have been pretty crazy.

Ok so my idea...

I get the Monday of Jan 2nd off. So I was thinking that if we wanted to go to NC soon then we could leave early Saturday Dec 31st and get there way before midnight to celebrate with them... Spend Sunday Jan 1st New Year's day with them and Jan 2nd because we get that day off, then we could either leave Jan 3rd or Jan 4th to come back home and that would only be taking 1 or 2 days off vacation.

Now the downside, is that is coming up soon, so we would need to make sure that we both have the money and Second, we would be going to see them in the beginning of this year, so I'm not sure if you could see them at all again the rest of the year.

Let me know what you think?
